Dr. Chase grew up in San Luis Obispo, California and attended the University of Pacific. He received his Bachelor of Biological Science degree in 1976. Dr. Chase obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in 1979. Upon graduating and marriage, Dr. Chase gave a volunteer year of dental residency in Jamaica, WI. From there he moved to Santa Rosa where he has provided the highest quality of cosmetic family dental care that enhances the health and well being of each patient.
Having practiced in Sonoma County for 31 years, Dr. Chase has provided a host of community services and functions. For thirteen years Dr. Chase was an Instructor at Santa Rosa Junior college in the Computer Sciences and both chaired and was a member on both the Health Sciences Advisory Committee and the Computer Sciences Advisory Committee. Currently Dr. Chase is involved in the Santa Rosa Rotary Club, and provides lectures from local groups to international conferences. Dr. Chase does research, instruction and clinical care at the Pacific Center for Orofacial Disorders in San Francisco and is an assistant professor at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Dr. Chase is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, The Redwood Dental Society, California Dental Association, International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Chase is a Fellow from the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics. Dr. Chase and his staff have trained extensively at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, which uniquely qualifies his office to provide patients with treatment ranging from simple tooth whitening to full mouth restorative care with understanding that much of what dental care provides can affect the entire body.
Dr. Chase enjoys Sonoma County with his wife and two kids. College for them is in progress and with it, new horizons in backpacking, tennis, biking, kayaking, and horseback riding with his wife, Robbie, of 31 years.
